Punit Malhotra’s forthcoming release Gori Tere Pyaar Mein will bring Kareena Kapoor and Imran Khan together after the duo’s romantic pairing in Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu. In fact, both Bebo and the honey-eyed Imran are bonding with each other a big time. The positive energy the two actors are exuding is remarkable. “Very few actors in the industry know what life is about. Very few people have knowledge about the things apart from the glamour world and Imran has that,” said Kareena about her co-star.

About her role in Gori Tere Pyaar Mein, the good looking actor maintains that she is playing an activist in the movie. “My character wants to do many good things for the people around her,” maintained Kareena. But that explanation makes us wonder if she is playing a style sensible activist in the movie. “Well, we have tried to keep the character as de-glamrourised as possible but since it’s a Karan Johar movie we have tried to keep my attire very interesting. So we have added more colour to my wardrobe to make my character look more energetic,” added Kareena.

Pakistani film Zinda Bhaag starring Naseeruddin Shah competes at Oscars

Zinda Bhaag is the first Pakistani film which has been sent to the Oscars in over five decades. But the question is – how far will it go?

Zinda Bhaag starring Bollywood veteran Naseeruddin Shah is Pakistan’s official entry to the Oscars in the Foreign Language Film Award category. Set in the backdrop of Lahore, the film which is directed Farjad Nabi and Meenu Gaur is a comedy. We hear the makers were overwhelmed as they did not expect their film Zinda Bhaag would be considered for the Academy Awards. The Naseeruddin Shahstarrer won four international awards at International South Asian Film Festival in Canada. Coming to the story, Bhaag Zinda revolves around three men and how they succeed to escape from their everyday reality.

Director Farjab Nabi believes that his film reflects true story of Pakistan’s youngsters. But what remains to be seen is – will Zinda Bhaag stand out at the 86th Academy Awards? We will have to wait and watch!

Is Sunny Leone promoting safe sex?

The adult movie star turned Bollywood hottie maintains that she cares about the sex life of one billion Indians….really?

Sunny Leone is so obviously enjoying her ever-growing fame in Bollywood – she is learning to get her expressions and dialogues right, all with her clothes on! Her transition from being a reigning porn-star in California to a B-town actor has been unbelievable. Today she juggles both her adult movie assignments in the US and her shooting schedules In India with ease. She is open to all kinds of offers and endorsements…. except for lingerie ads.

Now you have be wondering why Sunny would be hesitant to slip into scanties even after making lots of moolah and earning a name by slipping out of them. In fact, she even did a steamy condom commercial in which we saw her turning on the heat with her moves and moans. “The way they shot that condom commercial was classy, and I like the idea of promoting safe sex. It’s good. There are one billion people here. Everyone should be safe,” said Sunny about it.

That bizarre explanation has left us confused. Sunny has worn teeny weeny outfits and even a bikini on the silver screen. If she can do that happily for a three hour-long Hindi movie, why is she shying away from shooting lingerie commercials for the small screen? After all, if a condom commercial can be shot in a classy manner, there’s no reason why an innerwear ad can’t be done equally aesthetically, no?

Did Sunny Leone get hurt while performing a stunt?

Yes, the sexy siren got hurt while she was shooting in Mumbai for her next film

Sunny Leone and Karishma Tanna will be seen together in Devang Dholakia’s Tina and Lolo. Since its an out-an-out action flick, Sunny and Karishma were required to do some high octane action sequences. In one of the scenes, the two B-town beauties had to jump over a car onto a bunch of baddies. It was during the shoot of this stunt that Sunny bruised her ribs. The crew members quickly took the Jism 2actor inside her vanity van and later even a doctor dropped by to check upon her condition. While the adult actor’s injury wasn’t so serious, the babe was asked to rest for few days.

But instead of taking it slow, Sunny continued shooting. “It was unfortunate that Sunny got hurt as utmost care is taken with both the girls safety while they are doingaction scenes, we all are glad that she wasn’t hurt badly and admire her professionalism. Both girls insist on doing their own stunts and so we take extra precautions with them.” said director Devang Dholakia about the whole incident.

While the Laila tere le le gi item girl has a long way to go in Bollywood, we are certainly impressed

Amrita Rao’s sister Preetika Rao to debut on TV!

Amrita Rao has not made much of a noise in Bollywood after the sappy success ofVivaah co-starring a sweet-faced Shahid Kapoor. Of course there have been films like Welcome to Sajjanpur and Jolly LLB, apart from Main Hoon Na – where she played a carefully tailored role. Satyagraha was not a huge commercial success in spite of its star cast that included Amitabh Bachchan, Kareena Kapoor and Ajay Devgn, and Singh Saab the Great has just started its PR blitz. But Amrita, who tends to get typecast as the good desi girl because of her classical face and tiny build, is not giving up on films.

Her younger sister Preetika Rao seems to be learning from her didi’s…err…lack of super-success. She has played a part in Anil Kapoor’s 24 and is all set to make her debut as a lead actor on television with a new show on Colors made by Farhan Salaruddin.

This reportedly has the pretty Ms Rao playing a Muslim girl; buzz is strong that Harshad – no, not Chopra, but a newbie – will be the hero of this one. The new show is said to be replacing Bigg Boss 7 (once it ends, of course), along with Rang Rasiya, a new serial starring Sanaya Irani and Ashish Sharma.

Bigg Boss 7: Is Candy Brar envious of Gauahar Khan?

The latest evictee from Bigg Boss 7 seems to be feeling the green-eyed monster on her back when she thinks about Gauahar….

Candy Brar – the former flame of dismissed contestant Kushal Tandon – who entered the Bigg Boss 7 house recently was evicted from the show this weekend. We caught up with with the model turned businesswoman post her exit and realised that that she has a major issue to deal with – she is intensely envious of Gauahar Khan. We asked her whether she would have returned to the house if she had been in Gauahar’s place. She was quick enough to say, “No, I wouldn’t have!” Well, it seems that neither Candy nor her lawyers read the Bigg Boss contract carefully. Because all the housemates are bound by a clause that states that if any housemate chooses to leave the house, they would have to pay a penalty of Rs 50 lakh to the channel. So when such a hefty amount is in question, there is no doubt that if Candy had been in Gauahar’s place, she would have done exactly what Gauahar did.

What Gauahar did was absolutely commendable, wethinks. She stood up for someone even after knowing that it would cost her a penalty of a whopping amount of money. Moreover, the courage needed to go back to a house in which you are not welcome needs to be appreciated, no?

When we asked Candy who according to her are the most bitchy people inside the house, she took 21 seconds to answer. And Gauahar was her target again. She believes that Gauahar and Kamya are the bitches in the house. That’s not all. Candy also had a word of advice for Gauahar. She told us that too much bitching is hazardous for Gauahar’s health and mind.

Now this makes us wonder if Candy is envious of Gauahar – after all, the gorgeous model is now reportedly romantically involved with Candy’s ex Kushal Tandon. Get the connection?
