This duo delivered a hit with Murder and then had parted ways
Mahesh Bhatt and Mallika Sherawat parted ways after their hit film Murder, but looks like this director-actor duo will come together on Mallika’s show The Bachelorette India – Mere Khayalon Ki Mallika. Mahesh Bhatt will be the first celebrity guest on Jalebi Bai‘s reality show and will help the actor in screening the contestants. Bhatt, was one of the first filmmakers to rope in Mallika for his film Murder and he will be seen grilling the suitors on their compatibility quotient. Will Mahesh succeed in helping Mallika find her soulmate through the show? We dunno, but we’re sure his advice is something that Ms Sherawat should take seriously.
According to insiders, “Mallika holds high regard for Mahesh Bhatt and that is the reason why we had invited Mahesh Bhatt on the show. He grilled the contestants who had come to win Mallika’s heart, who he considers as his daughter. He was mighty impressed with the contestants and even offered four of the suitors a role in his upcoming project.It was quite an experience shooting with Mahesh Bhatt since Rohit Roy, who now hosts the show, was also launched by him.”
Based on the international format of The Bachelor, the Indian version will see 30 contestants trying to woo the actor.
