The Deepika Padukone-Ranveer Singh starrer received a UA certificate from the Censor Board
Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Ram-Leela was cleared on Friday by the Censor Board Of Film Certification with a UA certification. However, there were no cuts verbal or visuals.An UA certificate which means children can only watch Ram-Leela accompanied by grown-ups. All of SLB’s earlier films Khamoshi, Hum…Dil De Chuke Sanam, Devdas, Saawariya barring Guzaarish have been granted U certificates.
Says a source from Sanjay Leela Bhansali Productions, “Sanjay sir expected a UA forRam-Leela. The basic storyline is violent and there are a lot of guns in the film. But the censor board has been liberal with the aggressive language and the violence. They understood the context.”
