A little birdie tells us that a new member has joined the cast of Ranbir Kapoor’s Jagga Jasoos. We hear that Govinda will play Jr RK’s father in the upcoming film. Apparently, Ranbir plays the role of a 17-year-old high school student in the film. So, Govinda won’t have to age onscreen to play RK’s father.
A source close to Govinda says that the actor met director Anurag Basu last week, when Basu explained the role to Govinda. The Partner actor loved the subject and he’s certainly not playing a serious role in the film. Now, we’d like that!
Jagga Jasoos will be produced by Ranbir Kapoor and Anurag Basu under a new banner, Picture Shuru Productions. Let’s wait and watch how RK’s first production turns out!
