After shaadi wala song Tooh, the makers of Gori Tere Pyaar Meinhave released another song but this one is a village number
Set in the backdrop of a village, Chingam chabake song from Gori Tere Pyaar Meinhas been sung by Shankar Mahadevan and Shalmali Kholgade. This desi number features Kareena Kapoor Khan and Imran Khan and going by the video, it seems the duo had great fun grooving on to this peppy track along with the gaonwallahs. While the lyrics are fun and music is vibrant, wethinks Bebo and Imran could have done better with their dancing. After all, you do expect a few latkas and jhatkas but they seem to be missing in this number. However, we must admit both the actors look great together.Kareena carries off her desi avatar in the song with great elan and Mr Khan too looks handsome. Also, it looks like Gujarati is the flavour of Bollywood this year. We say so ‘coz there is few lines in Gujarati in between the song which adds more charm to thedesi tadka.
All in all, Chingam chabake is a fun song and we won’t be surprised if it this track becomes popular amongst the youth and is played during festive season.
